Results of the contest held in collaboration with the MADI university to develop a design project for tracked paver

On December 22, 2022 the MADI university held the final stage of the contest for the best design project of the tracked paver АСФ-Г-4-05 and awarded three winners. For three months graduate bachelor students from the faculty for road construction and technological machines under the supervision of the D.Eng.Sc., dean of the faculty for road construction and technological machines Natalya Baurova had been working on a new design engineering project of a tracked paver. As a result, 2 key projects were selected and winners duly awarded.

Dmitry Zaitsev, the Dr.-Ing., professor associate, vice-rector for post-graduate education of the MADI university opened event. “Contests and projects of such kind enable young specialists to be fully involved in company’s work and in production process. Our university, along with its subsidiaries, always had and always will contribute considerably to development and scientific backlog of our country’s road building industry. The future of the latter lies in hands of our young experts. Such events encourage their self-actualization as well as to develop and popularize the science. Integration of educational process with goals set by industrial partners from the real sector is a crucial part that requires a special attention from educational institutions, as well as of companies” – noted Dmitry.


The contest enlisted several science projects from the MADI students. The results of the expert commission awarded the following participants:

Friendly counsel, new creaitive ideas, energy invested and positive emotions form the small part of things enjoyed during the contest. The experience and ideas emerged within 3 months are waiting to be applied by the MADI students not only in the university but by their future employers.
