Schoolkids attended the company’s premises

Company tours to production premises scheduled as part of the project “A ticket to future” are still ongoing.

On November 14 pupils of the Bryansk Gymnasium No.3 attended a practice-oriented module of the “NPO “GKMP” LLC.

Prior to the company tour the schoolkids were briefed with safety instructions. Then they became familiar with the full production cycle of customized hardware - from machining a workpiece up to the final assembly of an end item.

The kids visited sites for metal machining and assembly, had a closer look at the workshop working as a well-aligned mechanism where everyone is a dedicated expert and does its best for the project. Apart from that, they became familiar with the variety of professions: workshop supervisor, foreman, lathe operator, CNC operator, milling operator, welder and construction metal worker. Special emphasis was made on brand-new CNC machines that offer promising opportunities for creativity in composition of programs for piece machining.

Moreover, the kids were informed on employer-sponsored education. Currently 2 persons joined this program. The main objective is to involve young and promising employees. To tackle this challenge the company has a well-developed system of mentoring and education at the company in order to promote career growth.

In 2023 “NPO “GKMP” LLC entered in a partnership with the “Center of advanced professional training of the Bryansk region” engaged in the project “Ticket to future” (datasheet of the national project “Education” is approved by the Counsel committee of the President in charge of strategic development and national projects) to perform profession-oriented tours to the premises of the “NPO “GKMP” LLC for students of educational institutions.
