Expo forum “ROAD SEASON. HERITAGE. DEVELOPMENT. INNOVATIONS” 2023

In Chelyabinsk the development prospective of road building industry was discussed. The forum of road builders was held in the capital city of the Southern Ural for the second time, as the event attracts a large number of attended every year. One of the main bullet points of the event was the discussion of issues related to road building by representatives of scientific communities, road builders and public activist.


The event was opened by the Deputy governor Sergey Shal. He specified that Chelyabinsk region has a great potential to implement the national project “Safe quality roads”. More than 200 km (out of 536 km scheduled) of regional and municipal roads are to be built and repaired as part of the national project in 2023.



The discussion was mainly focused on presentation and promotion of advanced road-building infrastructure, demonstration of new technologies and road building machinery, special-purpose equipment and new business contacts.


The event covered the following topics: 

  • Hardware, materials and equipment for building, repair, use, maintenance of roads and road facilities;
  • Road-building machinery;
  • Hardware, materials and machines for public infrastructure;
  • Road fence, road marking and traffic signs;
  • Road lighting;
  • Replaceable parts and components for road building machinery
  • Road traffic safety hardware


The “NPO “GKMP” LLC presented a project for discussion that tackled the role of manufacturers of road-building machinery with respect to the import replacement and thus shared its experience regarding the heritage and cooperation with contractors. Therefore, numerous sector-specific matters had been discussed with the representatives of municipal districts.


The expo-forum became a venue where participants managed to exchange opinions and share their experience in terms of road-building transport infrastructure. Moreover, the participants had a look at the best practices of the road building techniques and established business contacts with new partners.
