On May 16-17 in Moscow a forum and an expo “Road building in Russia: innovations, technologies and quality” took place. The event was supported by the Russian Ministry of Transport, the Federal road building agency, the State Duma, ITC No.418 “Road facilities”, the RUT (Russian University of Transport - MIIT). The Association of manufacturers and consumers of the asphalt and bitumen mixtures “ROSASPHALT” hosted the event.
Уже традиционно форум яTraditionally the forum is an exchange venue for federal and regional authorities, design, construction and contractor organizations, expert and scientific community, engineering companies engaged in implementation of innovative materials and technologies in road building.

The forum was also a venue for advanced solutions elaborated by the leaders of the industry. The participants took an advantage of the expo and shared experience regarding the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and materials.
The “NPO “GKMP” LLC presented the new design of the tracked road paver DESNA 1800 (АСФ-Г-4-05), and specifically emphasized well-developed production, how the design is upgraded in terms of ergonomics and appearance, the mechanism of output plan approval. Among other things, the company presented projects of road cutter and anti-segregation loader.

Currently the “NPO “GKMP” is working on upgrade and refitting of road building machinery, opening of dealer and service centers.

It is to be noted that the great interest was the presentation of the Deputy Director of the Association “Rosspezmash” Vyacheslav Pronin regarding the current situation with domestic machinery. Currently this market is presented by more than 50 companies. The follow-ups of the first quarter show the revenues over RUB 19.9 bln, i.e. by 4.6 bln more than the same period in 2022. The most successful initiative is the production of domestic road pavers of the “NPO “GKMP” LLC. The serial production of 300 machines of this design is scheduled in 2025.
