Thermal vacuum test equipment

ТВУ-200.jpgThis equipment is designed to test space technology products for tightness, conduct thermophysical experiments, as well as simulate solar and infrared radiation, and study their effect on spacecraft in conditions close to space.

The chamber is equipped with a vacuum pumping system based on dry vacuum pumps. Cryogenic screens are installed inside the stand chamber, cooled by circulating liquid nitrogen, which makes it possible to simulate cosmic "cold" background radiation. To heat the investigated object inside the chamber, infrared electric heaters are located over the entire surface, which allow simulating the background heat flux.The solar simulator is built on the basis of an emitting array of powerful xenon lamps, a special input optical unit that provides excellent uniformity of the light spot, and a mirror collimator that forms a parallel light flux inside the vacuum chamber.

 Component parts:
  • Vacuum chamber;
  • Nitrogen supply system;
  • Vacuum pumping system;
  • Solar simulation system;
  • System for imitation of infrared radiation;
  • Automatic control system;

Inside diameter of the vacuum chamber 6 000 mm
Length of chamber 13 000 mm
Working pressure in the chamber is not more than 5•10-6 mm Hg.(when the solar simulator is on and cryogenic screens are cooled)
Temperature on cryoscreens 80 ± 5 K
The light spot created by the solar radiation simulator is a square with a side of 2000 + 100 mm
Unevenness is not more than ± 15% of the average value for the spot
Density of heat flux up to 2000 W / m2
